“It was great to come along and listen to these business people. Some of their stories were really inspiring. I really enjoy working with Positive Futures as they’ve helped me loads to develop my confidence and try new things” Positive Futures participant
Positive Futures is a youth organisation based in North Liverpool that works with 13-24 year olds in a variety of settings: on the streets, in schools, with other local services.
The Positive Futures team is on hand to support a young person in any way they need, be it for a week or a year. Positive Futures is here to help young people achieve their potential, no matter the circumstance, the issue or how many previous chances a young person has been given.
Positive Futures has seen plenty of growth, including increasing the number of staff, extending the reach and impact of the work; reviewing the curriculum to create a bespoke programme for every individual; and developing a Theory of Change, which allows tracking of individuals’ progress.
Positive Futures hopes to see further growth, with more staff and a move to a new, state-of-the-art youth space that will allow continuation of the great work with the local community.
